"The Army just announced Austin as the location for its Futures Command, the largest reorganization of the Army in 45 years. Army Futures Command will be to modernize the Army for the future. That will involve integrating the future operational environment, threat and technologies, according to the Army website".
Translation:
This is a VERY big deal for ATX, innovators and entrepreneurs, as one of the Army Futures Command's functions is to focus upon developing new military technologies from a public/private partnership.
